Helpful Tips

•	Guy Friday should run in the background at all times. Put an alias of your Guy Friday startup document into the Startup Items folder, which is in your System folder.

•	The Guy Friday Status Window is small and unobtrusive. Just leave it in one of the corners of your screen. When you want to call Guy Friday to the foreground, click the window with the mouse.

•	As far as I can tell, it’s easiest if you have just one Guy Friday document that contains all the information you ever use: phone numbers, addresses, to do’s, etc. I have both personal and business info in the same file, since there’s little benefit in dividing files.

•	Be aware that Reminders are stored separately from any particular Guy Friday document. They are stored in a special file in the System Folder called, cleverly enough, “Reminders.”
